Bluxer · Manifesto

The projection room

Bluxer is a private cinema that happens to be public. Two things play here: what I make — writing and music — and what moves me — the films and records I keep coming back to. I stopped trying to separate the two. The wall between making and loving was always thinner than it looked.

Everything is presented the same way, on purpose. A poem gets the same letterbox, the same credits in the same monospace, as a feature film. Not because a poem is a film, but because attention is the only currency I trust, and a screening is just attention with the lights off.

House rules

Nothing here pretends. If something looks like you can click it, it goes somewhere. If a track has a play button, it plays. If there's a link out, it's real. The last version of this place was full of promises it didn't keep. This one keeps them or doesn't make them.

Two worlds

Mine is the writing and the tracks — work under whatever name it was made under. Selects is the cinema and the music I curate but didn't make. Lyrics link to their tracks; tracks link back to their lyrics. The rest you'll find by wandering, which is the point.
