A near-future shot entirely on degraded video, years before that was a style. The future here is beige and tired and bureaucratic, and that is exactly why it convinces.

The plot is thin on purpose. What it’s really about is signal — who controls it, who is allowed to receive it, and what a person becomes when the transmission stops.

Flawed, slow in the middle hour, and completely unlike anything made since.
